Tortosa, and the travel there.

Hello everyone. So, today is Tuesday. And to continue from yesterday´s post, we are in Tortosa now, which is south of L´Escala, and Barcelona. We drove down yesterday, and it took about three and a half hours. It was pretty relaxing for me I guess. Riding in the car, reading a great book, listening to music, enjoying the scenery, drinking lemon sweet tea, it was awesome. The countryside was amazing, and it makes you feel, I don´t know, important and unimportant at the same time. In the car, the roof is pretty much all glass, (read, huge sunroof) and we could see the clouds and the sun playing hide and seek. We were driving through mountains or along and above the Med. coast most of the time. The clouds were breathtaking. There were a couple different layers of them, and the way they were against the mountains, and the lower ones closer and moving towards us, it looked like a scene from a 3D movie.

The apartment we are staying at is great. we´re on the 5th (top) floor, and it has a wrap-around balcony that overlooks the river. It can sleep all nine of us. Last night we went for a walk after dinner, and went throught the fiesta/carnival. That was pretty neat.

Tomorrow, I think the plan is to take the train for a day trip down to Castellon. do some site seeing, visit the place where my dad´s family lived, and come back at night to sleep. We´re not sure yet, actually talking about it right now.
