Live Your Life with No Regrets.

Take a minute to sit down and evaluate your life. Are you doing what you are supposed to be doing? You don't know if you're going to the next breath or not. Don't take anything for granted. You aren't guaranteed anything, really. Live your life to the fullest, every moment to the utmost, every second for the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't live with regrets, just learn from your experiences. Live for the moment when Jesus will look you in the eye and say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

My Aunt Mimi unexpectedly passed away October 7th. This is the story. My Aunt's friend called Tuesday night, and asked to speak to my mom, about Mimi. I asked her if anything was wrong, and she said yes, something had happened. Come to find out, Mimi and her fiancee Neil had gone to dinner at the friends house, come back to their house, and while they were talking, she passed out. Neil started CPR immediately, but she was without a heart beat for over 30 minutes. She had a Catastrophic Arrhythmia, which is a ceasing of the electrical impulses to the heart. So her heart stopped beating, or you could say it misfired, but she didn't have a heart attack, so there was no pain. They got her to the hospital, but as far as I know, from the time she passed out, she never regained consciousness. They put her on life support, but decided to take her off Wednesday night. She was completely off of life support by 9 am on Thursday. At 8:08 that night, she passed away. The doctor said that she felt like she was going to faint, passed out, and didn't know anything in this life after that.

We are now the proud owners of my aunts two 15 year old Siamese cats, Heidi and Fred(Freddie). I'll post some pictures of them soon. My Parent's came home Early Sunday morning. My Aunts death was not as devastating as it could've been. My mom led her to the Lord about 18 years ago. So, we'll see her again one day. Thank you for all the prayers. They were much appreciated. God bless.

Gavin

  1. You guys have come to mind often, and each time I lift up a prayer for you as you all go through this time....while there is grieving for this earthly loss, there is rejoicing for this heavenly gain!

  2. Thank you so much. It's still kinda weird, thinking, "Huh, she just keeled over, and that was that." Kinda hard to think it's real, you know?
